Like its fascinating culture, the cuisine of Kerala is a rich and creative amalgam of the indigenous and the foreign, flavoured with ideas and innovations from ten centuries of trade with the outside world. Like most Indian food it is rich in spices, many of which come from its Eastern Mountains. Spiced food does not mean 'spicy' or 'chili-hot' as is commonly misunderstood. 'Spicy' dishes are actually quite mild on the palate. We will of course customise our recipes to suit your individual taste so that you will enjoy the rich aroma and presence of the spices of this land, special to both God and man, in a manner that can only be called exalting.
